    McCandless Township Resident Elected to PA Speech-Language-Hearing Association Post

    Caterina Staltari, a faculty member in Duquesne’s Rangos School of Health Sciences, has been elected Vice President of Governmental Relations for the Pennsylvania Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

    Staltari, a clinical instructor in the Department of Speech-Language-Pathology, will take office on July 11. She teaches students who work with adults who have neurological impairments and pediatric clients with speech production disorders. Staltari advises the Duquesne chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

    A practicing speech-language pathologist for 20 years, Staltari has worked with adult and pediatric populations. Her areas of interest include communication disorders resulting from neurological impairment in adults as well as pediatric motor speech disorders.

    Staltari resides in McCandless Township.
