The Cyril H. Wecht Institute of Forensic Science and Law continues its Forensic Fridays series with Identifying the Right Expert for Your Legal Needs.
The seminar will explore the many critical considerations facing criminal and civil attorneys in need of scientific experts.
Guest speakers are Anthony Krastek, deputy state attorney general; Gary Zimmerman, criminal defense attorney; Jason Lichtenstein, criminal defense attorney; Dr. Cyril Wecht, forensic pathology consultant; and Dr. Fred Fochtman, director of Duquesne’s Wecht Institute and former Allegheny County forensic science laboratory director and chief toxicologist. They will give a series of short presentations and participate in a panel discussion covering topics ranging from how to find the right kind of expert to effective deposition strategies to the optimal use of witnesses at trial.

Forensic Fridays was developed by the Wecht Institute to offer continuing legal education opportunities on a regular basis and in shorter courses better suited to the busy schedules of professionals.
