Inclement weather conditions in Washington, D.C., have caused talks by Dr. Abiodun Williams, scheduled at Duquesne University today and Friday, Jan. 28, to be postponed.

Williams, a scholar whose expertise includes preventing and resolving conflict in Africa, is the former director of strategic planning in the Office of the Secretary General of the United Nations. He was to present a public address at 4:30 p.m. today and speak with students attending this year’s Model United Nations at Duquesne on Friday, Jan. 28.

Plans are to reschedule his talk for another date.
