Author and activist Kevin Powell will present Am I My Brother’s Keeper? Redefining Manhood in America, an address that will focus on black male development and empowerment.
Powell, a former cast member of MTV’s The Real World, is a poet, journalist, cultural curator, political consultant and hiphop historian.
Free and open to the public, this event is sponsored by Duquesne’s Office of Multicultural Affairs, Black Student Union and the Multicultural Faculty Development Advisory Group.
