    Duquesne’s Symphony Orchestra Announces 2006-2007 Concert Season

    The Duquesne University Symphony Orchestra (DUSO), under the direction of Maestro Sidney Harth, has announced its 2006-2007 concert season. Four of this season’s concerts are scheduled to be broadcast live on 89.3, WQED-FM.    Harth, who began working last year to select the compositions to be played, collaborate with guest artists and select dates for performances for the upcoming season, has been director of orchestral activities at the Mary Pappert School of Music since 2001. The DUSO, with 90 musicians, compares with professional orchestras in its size.
