    Renowned Scholar/Author to Address Pope John Paul and the Jewish People

    New Registrar Appointed at Duquesne University

    Kimberly J. Hoeritz has been named registrar at Duquesne University effective June 19. Hoeritz, who most recently served as deputy registrar for student services and operations at Princeton University, reports directly to the provost and vice president of academics. Read more »

    Top Fund-Raiser to Depart Pittsburgh for Florida Carol Carter’s efforts at Duquesne garnered great support

    Duquesne University President Dr. Charles Dougherty today announced that Carol Carter, vice president for university advancement, will depart Pittsburgh after nearly 25 years in fund raising here to reside in Florida. For the past two and a half years, Carter oversaw all aspects of fund raising, including launching the quiet phase of a new capital campaign, alumni relations, university events and public affairs at Duquesne. Her last day at Duquesne is July 7. Gerard LaVan, an alumnus of Duquesne and current associate vice president for advancement, will serve as interim vice president. Read more »
